I will never forget their generosity, and will announce on social media how welcoming and friendly the people of Saluda were on my visit to South Carolina. A special Thank You to that young man, who's name I unfortunately don't have, and to all the folks at the Hardware Store, and Saluda SC.
I entered this store on Aug 21, one hour before the eclipse, asking the young clerk at the counter if they had any viewing glasses left. Not only did they welcome me out of towner, the clerk gave me his last glasses he had in a drawer as a gift.
